Info for Staff

Funds Available

  • Teacher Supplement: $120 to spend on classroom supplies.  

Requirements:

1. Must be a current SDE PTA member

2. Must be a full time staff member who instructs students

3. Must follow reimbursement steps below 

  • Teacher Grant: $$ allocated toward specific requests until the total PTA grant budget is exhausted for the year.  Amount dependent on request. 

Requirements:

1. Must be a current SDE PTA member

2. Must have already used your teacher supplement funds

3. Must fill out the grant request form found on SDE PTA website and wait to receive approval by the PTA treasurer

4. Must follow reimbursement steps below 

  • Other Budget Line Items to know about: 

    • Singing Club ($250) 

    • Art Initiatives ($250) 

    • K5 Orientation ($200) 

    • Health Room Expense ($150) 

    • Playground Equipment Expense ($800) 

    • Special Olympics ($375) 

    • Student Helpers EOY Celebration ($250) 

How to Get Reimbursed:

1. Purchase items and keep/ print out physical receipt (emailed receipts not accepted)

2. Make sure you are a current PTA member

3. Fill out PTA Payment/Reimbursement Form for Staff (can be found in the PTA treasurer’s box in the blue folder or on the SDE PTA website under staff tab).

4. Attach your receipt/invoice to the completed form and place in green folder in PTA treasurer’s box.

5. Goal for reimbursement is 1-week turnaround. Check will be placed in staff member’s mailbox.

NOTE: Preferred method of using PTA funds is for staff to pay and then PTA to reimburse within the week with a check.

However, PTA debit card may be used in special circumstances. Please contact PTA treasurer in advance with these requests.
